stormy autumn night
he cuts an onion in two
against her earache

first almond biscuit ...
she stores away
a plastic pumpkin

Well, I think this special "onion cake" we bake in Southern Germany and almond biscuit can't be food in the same evening. I don't see a sequence of two haiku. I just see two texts treating phenomenons in autumn, headache caused by bad weather and retreat in warm living rooms. And we like some sweets better than an artificial decoration when we are frustated by the colder and darker season.
Fine texts about desires in autumn!

Wow affects so many senses, love for the Autumn night, relief of onion to take the bad stuff away...it is an almond sensation, very good for the art, how fabulous are you!!!

Lieber Ralf,

Thank you very much everybody!

@ Rudi: Indeed this set is a seit for I sent the both in to same Shiki Monthly Kukai. One might see them as discussing set if you like, but nobody has to.

@ Vaughn: Yes, it does. Half of an onion on the aching ear, bound with a scarf (or just laying on the side and the veg on it).

@ Rachel: "Explosion" - wowh, was für ein Kompliment. Danke!

Best wishes
Ralf

@ Lorraine and Gebriele: Great you have the same experience. (And next time I'll pass the onion to this blog, for it is loosing comments while opening another window.)

first i'm reading about this onion treatment; but on another level the comfort of food and indoors warmth creates a nice cozy mood; the two
verses seem made for each other

much love
